Helicopter Ball Drop

The 2007 Buick Invitational will mark the third year for the "Helicopter Ball Drop", a benefit to support the San Diego Regional Fire and Rescue Helicopter Program. The Century Club is partnering with the City of San Diego to offer a new opportunity for corporations and individuals to support public safety. Our goal is to raise money to expand the services and provide advanced training, technology and equipment for the San Diego Regional Fire and Rescue Helicopter Program. During the devastating wildfires that took place in Southern California, millions of people watched as homes were destroyed and lives were taken. When fire dangers are especially high, your commitment will give us access to additional resources to better protect our communities.

How the Ball Drop Works

On Saturday, January 27, following the third round of the Buick Invitational, we will release thousands of golf balls from a Fire and Rescue helicopter onto a mock green near the 4th hole of the North Course at Torrey Pines. Each ball is a chance to win one of several fantastic prizes.
