3rd Annual Diamond in the Rough Gala

Benefiting Monarch School

The 2nd Annual Diamond in the Rough Gala was nothing short of an overwhelming success. This premier event has been scheduled next year for Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California. As with the Mission Statement of the Century Club, all proceeds from this event will go to charity. The black-tie optional event will feature Wine Tasting, Silent and Live Auction, Dinner and Entertainment.

This year's beneficiary is Monarch School. Monarch School is a unique collaboration of the San Diego County Office of Education and the Monarch School Project. It is dedicated to providing homeless and at-risk children ages 7 to 18 years of age with an opportunity to achieve their dreams of living normal productive lives. They are able to receive an accredited education while caring for their basic needs that include food, clothing, medical care and the tools they need to break the cycle of homelessness.
