100% of Dollars Earned Go Back To Local Organizations
Over $100,000 Raised and Over $600,000 Since Its Inception

Chip-In For Charity has been a big hit for local groups and this year a record number of dollars are hoping to be raised.
The idea behind Chip-In For Charity is easy. Charities sell specially discounted tickets that are good any day to the Buick Invitational for $15.00. Unlike most fundraising programs, the charities keep 100% of the revenues.
The Chip-In For Charity program engaged more than 60 local charities in 2008 that raised $100,000 to boost the total dollars raised to more than $600,000 in five years.
“The Chip-In For Charity program has proven
to be a very beneficial program for many
San Diego charities over the years and Sony
supports their fine efforts,” said Ed Wallace,
Vice President Community Affairs of Sony.
“We certainly have enjoyed our association
with the Buick Invitational and The Century
Club of San Diego.”
“We’ve successfully expanded the Chip-In For Charity project from our first year and it’s helped so many deserving local organizations,” said Jeff Byroads, 2008 President and General Chairman of the Century Club. “This has been a tremendously successful program that continues to add momentum each year. Many local groups have certainly benefited from the Chip-In For Charity program.”
